Get ready: LinkedIn’s Website Demographics Tool Enables Brands to Learn Who Visits their Sites

LinkedIn recently announced a new program for B2B advertisers called LinkedIn Demographics. This new tool, which uses the same LinkedIn insights tag currently used by marketers to track sponsored post conversions or clicks, will now enable users to see audience analytics on their website visitors.

Once the Insights Tag is enabled, use the LinkedIn ad manager to set up a range of audiences (using one or multiple URLs from the digital properties you wish to track). The tool will then show you relevant analytics for those audiences, which will enable more data-driven campaign targeting decisions.  The analytics can be filtered by the following parameters.

  • Job title
  • Industry
  • Job seniority
  • Job function
  • Company
  • Company size
  • Location
  • Country
